Nurturing Minds, Supporting All: Health, Safety, and Accessibility at Manthan
Our campus is located at Tellapur in Hyderabad. It has state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure that support the educational programmes offered here. Since the inception of this institution, Manthan has ensured that its campus supports and meets the needs of individuals with physical challenges. The campus has been improved to allow all students to take full advantage of the education, facilities and services provided.
In addition, Manthan supports the education of students with special needs as well. We have specialised teachers and facilities to ensure that every child is included and supported in the educational process.
Accessibility
Manthan has ensured that its campus supports and meets the needs of physically-challenged individuals. The campus has been upgraded with a ramp and elevators to allow students to take advantage of the facilities and services.
Transportation
The Manthan buses are safe and comfortable. They are air-conditioned to keep the students comfortable during the warm months and also to keep the dust at bay. Every bus is supervised by a bus attendant to ensure safety and punctuality. Parents can also use their own transportation for their children. To enhance safety, seat belts have been installed in all our buses, providing a secure and protected journey for our passengers. GPS systems have been installed in every vehicle, offering continuous monitoring and support services to ensure the safety and well-being of all bus commuters.
Campus
Cameras are installed in all common areas. The school is designed with child safety in mind and has no dark or hidden corners. All parts of the school are completely visible, as are all classrooms from the windows outside. About 400 staff members are in school and corridors and always have children in their sight. For security purposes, distinct identification cards are issued to parents, vendors, and visitors
Labs
All students wear lab coats, goggles and gloves when in labs. No experiments are conducted without the supervision of a teacher. Safety posters are displayed in all labs to ensure an educational and safe experience when dealing with equipment and chemicals.
Safety Training
The best way to ensure children’s safety is to train them to keep themselves safe, not only in school but also outside. With that objective, we conduct information sessions regularly to familiarise them with concepts such as “Safe Circle”, “Good Touch, Bad Touch”, “How to Deal with Strangers,” and so on.
The entire staff (teaching and non-teaching) is also sensitised and trained, as needed, on how to behave with children.
School staff are required to undergo Safeguarding, First Aid, and Fire Safety training workshops. All this ensures that Manthan remains a safe place for all.
