The World of Amazing Learning at Manthan! Discover the Campus and Premier Facilities.
We have classes from pre-primary grades till Grade 12. The school has all the required amenities such as science laboratories, computer labs, libraries, art studio, craft room, music room, clinic, canteen, and staff-rooms in addition to state-of-the-art classrooms. We also have a football field, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a kabaddi play area, a long jump sand pit, cricket nets with a bowling machine, a 200m running track, and a separate playground for our primary school children. The campus also grows a large variety of sustainably maintained fruit and flowering plants such as papaya, tamarind, bananas, guavas etc. The produce from these plants are often used in our school cafeteria.
Facilities
For the holistic development of our students, Manthan has a range of facilities on its campus, including science labs, computer labs, libraries, music rooms, dance rooms, art studios, craft rooms, activity rooms, study areas, a Math lab, a clinic, a cafeteria, staff rooms and state-of-the-art classrooms.
We boast an array of sporting amenities too, including a football field, a basketball court, a 200m running track, and cricket nets. Our younger pupils can also enjoy exploring learning in nature, with a separate playground, a treehouse and a story hut at their disposal.
21,000 Books in Libraries
Libraries at Manthan are designed to encourage and inspire young children to read from an early age. With over 21,000 book titles covering fiction, reference books, periodicals, and magazines, our libraries are well-stocked and well-maintained.
There are four libraries in total, one for each learning segment – Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle and High School – and librarians work closely with the school leadership to ensure that the libraries are updated with the latest and most relevant reading material.
Reading Activities
Reading is a regular activity in the Pre-Primary and Primary stages, with teachers reading books to children daily and lending simple self-reading books for them to take home each week.
Our proprietary structured reading programme, Tent of Tales, is available to all students and rewards are given for the number of books read.
CD-ROMs are also available, integrated into the teaching curriculum and used by teachers to explain concepts in an audio-visual environment.
Mini Libraries
Each classroom has its own mini library, with books relevant to the subjects being taught available for teachers and students to borrow.
Our science labs allow students to gain hands-on experience with what they learn in the classroom. For every unit, students get an opportunity to conduct practical experiments in the lab in all three sciences
– Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Physics Lab
The Physics lab allows for a complete practical experience for students across all grades. From experiments in kinematics to electricity, the Physics lab is fully equipped for practical learning.
Biology Lab
The Biology lab allows students to examine and investigate the wonders of life. With microscopes and specimens (both plant and animal), students can explore, experiment and discover the wonders of nature beyond the classroom.
Chemistry Lab
From titrations to deducing boiling points, our Chemistry lab is the perfect place for every experiment. We have a range of chemicals used for various experiments and practical work.
Composite Science Lab
Apart from the three subject labs, we also have a Composite Science Lab where younger students are encouraged to observe and conduct science experiments related to their current classroom topics under the guidance of their teachers.
Manthan’s four ICT Labs allow students to access individual computers during their computer classes. All the necessary software is available, as well as a projector, smart board, and a computer system.
A specialist teacher runs the computer lab, guiding pupils in their technological pursuits, as technology plays an integral role in all subjects.
Music is an important part of education, and our two Music Rooms allow students to play and enjoy all forms of music.
The rooms have various instruments, including a drum kit, keyboards, tabla, dholak, daphli, and guitars (acoustic and electric).
Dance classes are also part of the Manthan curriculum, with two dance rooms fitted with mirrors and wooden floors available to provide a complete dance studio-like experience.
It is mandatory to participate in dance classes through the primary school years. Once students reach Middle and High School, they can choose to continue their dance training by becoming members of the Manthan Dance Club.
The Story Hut, located by the side of the playground, is a roofed open space used for role-play and storytelling.
The Tree House is a popular place to hang out for one and all. It is built on and around one of the oldest trees on the campus and provides shade and comfort on sunny days. It is a great addition to the other play areas in the school.
Manthan has a spacious cafeteria where students and staff have breakfast and lunch on all working days. We also include healthy snacks in the menu for the day. The kitchen staff diligently plans balanced meals that are carefully prepared on the school premises. While nutrition is the key factor in the meal plan, different dishes are prepared regularly to cater to all palates.
Special meals are also planned for festivals and special occasions.

Student Support
The complete well-being of students is a top priority at Manthan. Total wellness is monitored regularly at Manthan to ensure that students maintain a healthy balance between body, spirit and mind. Sports and physical education ensure students’ physical wellness remains optimal. For emotional and mental health, we use different tools and methodologies.
Manthan has a dedicated student counsellor who works with middle and high school students to improve their emotional and mental well-being. We also incorporate the principles of Social Emotional Learning into our education framework, allowing all learners to identify and navigate emotions, practice mindful engagement, and exhibit pro-social behaviour to flourish towards a peaceful and sustainable plan.
Manthan conducts surveys to understand students’ wellness levels and implements changes wherever necessary. In one of the wellness surveys, the school realised that students’ concerns are dynamic with different intensity levels. A ‘Teacher Mentors’ team, chosen by high school students, was formed for basic guidance and counselling. The school counsellor conducted sessions on basic counselling skills and sensitised teachers to student wellness issues.
A monthly check is kept on all students to see if distress is increasing or decreasing in both middle and high school. Teacher Mentors counsel students if their distress level is low. For a high-intensity issue, the school counsellor takes over.
Dr Meghna Singhal, a clinical psychologist and parent educator, popularly known as “The Therapist Mommy,” conducted a webinar for high and middle school parents.

Manthan also has highly qualified Special Needs teachers who work with special needs students individually and in groups to promote full academic functioning. They implement Individual Educational Plans (IEP) to create a safe and productive classroom environment. The educators facilitate inclusive learning and counsel children and parents on different learning aspects. They also train teachers to educate them on different disabilities in special needs children and how to support them.
