Dear Parents, Greetings!

As we continue our journey together at Manthan, I want to highlight an essential aspect of our school environment—ensuring the safety and safeguarding of all our students. Creating a secure and nurturing learning environment is at the heart of everything we do. We put in considerable effort to ensure that our campus remains a place where every individual—whether student, staff, parent, or visitor—feels safe and welcomed.

At Manthan, we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team that includes a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and five Deputy Safeguarding Leads (DDSLs), each stationed on different floors for easy access by students. This team works continuously to raise awareness, implement protocols, and conduct workshops to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. All students are oriented on whom to approach and how to report any concerns they may have.

To ensure the safety of all, we carry out regular risk assessments of procedures and infrastructure and provide staff training on emergency protocols. Our Safety Coordinator organises regular safety drills to ensure everyone knows how to respond in an emergency. She also works closely with the Nutritionist to ensure healthy food for all, and with the Food Committee to maintain high standards of hygiene in the cafeteria.

While we take every precaution to create a safe environment, your support is essential. We encourage you to remain engaged with us—ask questions, share feedback, and participate in discussions about safeguarding and safety. Together, we can strengthen the safety culture at Manthan.

Additionally, we ask for your help in promoting safety outside the school. Please ensure that your children wear helmets if they are commuting by bicycle to school or if they are being dropped off on a two-wheeler. Similarly, if your child is traveling in a car with you, please ensure they are always wearing a seatbelt. Modelling these safety practices will help instill the importance of safety in their daily lives.

By continuing our partnership, we can create a safe environment for every child. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to making Manthan a HAPPY and SAFE place for all our students.
