English
We aim to develop students’ language skills using tools such as guided reading programmes, show and tell, role-play, drama, songs, poetry, storytelling, essays, and short stories.
Mathematics
The students are taught Mathematics by teaching the relevant concepts with real-world applications and instances. By the end of primary school, children can effortlessly handle numbers, shapes, measurements, and data analysis problems.
Second Language
Hindi and Telugu are offered as second language options. We strongly believe that it is important to learn as many languages as one can during the early years. Research proves that learning a new language can be a useful tool in developing a child’s brain and can bring about improvements in memory, speech and sensory processing. Children are usually more capable of learning new words or phrases with the same ease as learning their native language. They absorb new information effortlessly and start using a new language confidently. Social Studies
The syllabus covers the study of self and human surroundings. Children are made aware of communities, nations, and the various roles they play in society.
Science

Global Perspectives
This subject is introduced from Grade 1 and is more aligned with Science themes. Later in Grade 3 , it becomes part of the social studies curriculum. It enhances the research, analytical, application and collaborative skills of the students through various group activities.
Computing & Digital Literacy
Students learn to use computers to tabulate data, test hypotheses, run basic programs and make presentations. We also support them in expressing their creativity through design software.
Physical Education
Students are introduced to different sports, which help develop their physical and mental abilities. Playtime also aids in building teamwork, and leadership skills, and teaches the children to handle social interactions.
Fine Arts
Our curriculum is designed to nurture imagination and the art of expression using different forms. Art, craft, dance, music and drama-based activities are incorporated into the timetable.
Manthan School follows the Cambridge International Primary Programme but also covers objectives set forth by CBSE in case the student opts for the CBSE board after seventh grade.
