Dear Manthan School Community, Greetings!
I trust everyone is settling in well after the school reopened following the summer break.
As we navigate this academic year, I am filled with pride reflecting on our journey so far. Last month, I shared with you all the excellent performance of our High School students in the CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12, as well as in the Cambridge board exams for IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level.
This month, I am pleased to share another success story about our Primary and Middle school students. In the Cambridge Checkpoint Exams, our students have surpassed international averages in Grade 5 and Grade 8 across English, Science, and Mathematics. They achieved average scores of 38 and 44 out of 50, respectively, compared to the international averages of 32 for both grades.
At Manthan School, we believe that education extends beyond acquiring information to developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Our curriculum encourages inquiry, allowing students to engage with complex ideas and develop a deep understanding of the world around them. We equally focus on the development of social and emotional skills, resilience, and self-awareness in shaping well-rounded individuals. Through diverse extracurricular activities, community service projects, and leadership opportunities, we equip our students for life beyond academics.
We are committed to the safety and safeguarding of our students. In June 2024, the school successfully underwent another Safeguarding audit of our safer recruitment standards and actions taken for student safety and well-being over the past year. The audit provided constructive feedback, offering valuable insights and suggestions for our team.
As we continue to adapt to the changing educational landscape, we remain committed to empowering our students to become lifelong learners and leaders who will make a positive impact on the world around them.
Soon, the school will organize the student council elections, extending representation to middle and primary school for the first time beyond high school. This initiative will create more leadership opportunities for students and instill democratic values among them. Additionally, we are scheduled to host three Cambridge Interschool events at Manthan in the next two months: Basketball, Volleyball, and a Literature Festival. This year, we will also participate once again in the ISSO games.
I encourage all students to participate in all activities and events they are eligible for, and I urge our community to stay connected and committed to our shared goals. Let us continue nurturing an environment that fosters a love for learning. Together, we can ensure that Manthan School continues to excel in education.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
