Dear Manthan Family,
Greetings!
Learning is a journey of continuous improvement at Manthan, where we encourage our students to take ownership of their learning. We are committed to developing the knowledge, understanding and lifelong skills of our students to ensure their success, both in school and beyond. The last couple of months were full of incredible achievements by our students and I wish to congratulate them on their myriad successes.
In the realm of academic excellence, 3 of our students were awarded the esteemed World Topper Awards in 4 subjects for their outstanding performance in the IGCSE exams. Their dedication and hard work inspire us all, and we are expecting even better results this year. Language, Science and Mathematical prowess were on display with a Gold Medal award in the Hindi Olympiad along with thirty Gold Medals in the SOF International English Olympiad. Additionally, our students’ success in the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge – 2023 showcases their exceptional talent in Mathematics.
Our students did equally well in sports too. Team Manthan finished third in the ILOS – ISP Chess Masters competition in the Senior School category. Our student, Mohit, will represent Manthan in the Under-14 District-level Cricket tournament and Sohan participated at the national level for the Telangana state U-19 Basketball team. These achievements demonstrate our students’ dedication to sportsmanship and teamwork.
Our commitment to community impact shines through with four of our projects under the ISP Changemakers Programme receiving financial support to continue their impactful community outreach initiatives.
We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements, and we celebrate each one of their successes. We will continue our efforts to make the next school year an extraordinary one for our dear students and are eager to welcome them back to school when the new session begins on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!

A day of fun with friends in the sun was what Grade 6 learners enjoyed when they went on a field trip to Eco Park, Gandipet. The backdrop of the serene Gandipet Lake and the vibrant greenery of the park energised our learners on a cold morning as they climbed trees, played ball and had a great time together.
Grade 7 visited the Amrabad Tiger Reserve sprawling over five districts – Kurnool, Prakasam, Guntur, Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar. Learners explored the reserve on Safari Jeeps and spotted Sambar deer, wild boars, several species of monkeys, wild dogs, peacocks and several other beautiful birds. They enjoyed the mesmerising views from the top at the Farhabad Viewpoint and also trekked through the thick forest of Nallamalla under the guidance of the Forest education officer. Hands-on art activities and games created an enriching experience for the learners who will remember this trip for a long time.
Excited 8th graders went on a school trip to explore India’s diverse cultural tapestry while visiting Chennai, Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry. They explored the varied architecture of temples, churches and monuments in these places which included visiting Krishna’s Butter Ball, a massive natural rock balanced precariously on a slope, in Mahabalipuram. Pondicherry was a wonderful mix of quaint French colonial architecture, vibrant markets, charming cafés along with the serene Aurobindo Ashram and the Matrimandir. A visit to Auroville, an experimental township dedicated to human unity and spiritual progress, allowed students to witness a unique community living in harmony with nature. En route to Chennai, they visited Crocodile Bank, and enjoyed themselves at the Queensland Adventure Park. The beaches of Pondicherry and Chennai were perfect spaces to wind down.
This trip created a deeper understanding of history, art, and spirituality in the learners who have come back with experiences that broaden their horizons and foster a sense of unity and appreciation for the rich heritage of India.

My journey at Manthan has been a thoroughly enriching experience. The teachers went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best learning environment which helped us overcome the academic rigor during high school. Their unwavering dedication to excellence instilled in us, a feeling of confidence and readiness for crucial examinations.
Beyond the classroom, I was given numerous opportunities to exhibit my musical passion during school assemblies and events. As a member of the student council, I actively participated in coordinating school events. Furthermore, my teachers encouraged my research pursuits, aiding me in completing several projects.
Additionally, Manthan has been instrumental in guiding my college planning journey. The College and Career Counsellor assisted me in narrowing down to an adapted list of suitable colleges and enhancing the quality of my essays to effectively showcase my strengths to universities worldwide. Manthan has not only shaped me into the person I am today but has also paved the way for a promising future filled with endless opportunities.
