Ramakrishna is the overall head of the school and is primarily responsible for its strategy, philosophy, value system and makes sure learning enviroment is created in the best possible way every day in every class for every child.
Ramakrishna has done his M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. He worked with LIC of India for a few years before joining IIM(A). After his MBA, he started an analytics consulting firm in Mumbai and grew it to a leading position in the global analytics space. He moved back to Hyderabad in early 2009 and has been since involved in establishing and running the school with a lot of passion.
He would like to bring about innovative methodologies in teaching to make learning fun, relevant and impact-full. He wants to keep the broader social perspective alive while running the school as a professional institution. He teaches Maths to grades 5 & 6.
Ramana Reddy - Operations Head
Ramana is responsible for bringing up the good infrastructure that is required to run the schools efficiently. He also ensures that the school fulfills all statutory norms and is run as per the law of the land. Currently he also takes care of operational aspects like Transport, Canteen and House Keeping aspects.
Ramana brings with him a lot of experience from the education sector, the construction and real estate industry.
He has been associated with Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet in Hyderabad over the last 10 years as parent and worked tirelessly for the betterment of the school. As a recognition he was elected as President to the PTA (Parent Teachers Association) for the years 2009-11and was ex-officio Board Member of the school representing the interests of over 2,500 students and 250 staff during 2009-11.
Shalini C Reddy - Head of Curriculum & Academics
Shalini leads the curriculum team and is the overall incharge of Academics. Manthan is one of the few schools that has a dedicated curriculum team comprising of teachers experienced in early childhood education and subject specialists. Manthan believes that education can’t be left to chance and that good teachers can become great teachers when backed with well thought out objectives, detailed lesson plans, ideas for activity and skills based learning, application based continous assessments and good teachers training. Shalini takes care of the overall academics that is delivered in the class rooms and keeps a close eye to ensure that the delivery in the class rooms is as per the vision of the school. She is a voracious reader and likes to spend time in class with children teaching them creative writing, developing a love for books and reading.
Shalini has done her MBA from ICFAI Hyderabad and has been working in various retail formats over the last 10 years including Planet M, Bose and FabIndia. She believes that both people and processes are important to achieve organizational excellence.
