  • Admission Fee and Refundable Deposit need to be paid only once, at the time of admission. For example for a child joining in Jr KG one needs to pay Rs 25,000 at the time of admission towards admission fee and Rs 25,000 towards refundable deposit. The refundable deposit is actually refunded in full what ever time of the year a child leaves unlike other schools that put so many terms in small print that one would end up losing most of it.
  • Sibling Discount: Refundable Deposit will only be charged for the first child, deposit is waived for other children in the family.
  • Annual Fee and Food Fee: These are to be paid every year for every child. For example a Jr KG child will have to pay Rs 72,000 per annum as per the current fee structure. However this can be paid in multiple modes as given below.

  • Bus Fee: Bus fee need only to be paid by parents opting for school transport. However even this can be paid in the multiple modes as given below.

  • Payment Modes: The annual components of the fee (Annual Fee, Food and Bus Fee) can be paid in any of the following three modes
1.      Annual: All amount paid upfront, for example for academic year 2012-13 it has to be paid in April 2012.
2.      Quarterly: In three parts, for ex for academic year 2012-13 it has to be paid in April 2012, Aug 2012 and Dec 2012
3.      Monthly: In 10 equal monthly payments. Though the payment is monthly the 10 post dated cheques have to be deposited at the time of admission for the new students and by April 1st for the next academic year by the old students. One cheque will be encashed every month from April 2012 till March 2013 except in the months of Aug 2012 and Dec 2012.

  • Mid Year Admission: A child joining in October need to pay the fee only from that month i.e., proportionally to the amount of time spent by the child in the school in the year and not from the beginning of the year as is the usual practice in many schools.
  • Mid Year Withdrawal: Transfers are the reality of career life today and Manthan wishes to make the exit as smooth as the admission process. As soon as a parent informs of the last date of childs stay in the school, Manthan will collect the fee only till the end of that month and also will in all earnest try to refund the deposit cheque immediately and in any case no later than the end of the month.
  • Fee Hikes: Manthan is committed to run the schools with very high ethical standards and intends to revise the fee very nominally only to offset inflation. As and when a credible inflation index comes into place we will just index our fee to that and increase only to that extent. There will be no sharp increase in fee that causes immense hardship to parents budgets. As a philosophy Manthan tries to take the guess work away and create a very transparent and fair process for collection, review and administration of fee.
  • Method of Payment: Parents opting for Annual or Quarterly mode could pay the fee either through DD or Cheque or Cash or Bank Transfer. Monthly payment is only possible with post dated cheques as otherwise it would lead to a lot of wasted time on processing and follow up with parents for collection of fee.
