The Hyderabad Children

Theatre is an extraordinary and unique experience for a young person. Attending a performance engages them with different cultures and perspectives, as well as different mediums for expressing ideas and stories, such as puppetry, soundscapes, music, movement and dance. Students of Grade 3, Madhapur had an enriching learning experience attending the Hyderabad Children's Theatre Festival at Shilpakala Vedika. This was an extension to their classroom learning in English/Hindi about writing a 'Play script' which includes plot, theme, staging, characters, setting, acting, stage design, lighting and sound. Children experienced the magic of live theater which is very different from watching movies and television.
