Bapu Reddy did his M.A. in Economics from Osmania University (Hyderabad) And Diploma in National Development from Institute of Social Studies, The Hague (Netherlands).
Bapu Reddy held various important positions during his active service. He was Collector & District Magistrate, Medak and Warangal. He was Special Officer to Chief Minister of AP. He was also Member of Andhra Pradesh Service Commission.
Apart from being a successful bureaucrat, what distinguishes Bapu Reddy is known for his commendable versatility and consistently superior quality of writing. His forte is poetry and he writes with equal ease in Telugu & English. He has over 40 published works to his credit.
He has been highly commemorated including that of Andhra Pradesh Sahitya Academy Award for Poetry, conferred “Fellow Membership” by International Poets Academy, Elected as Honorary Professor of Letters by the Temple of Arts Academy, International New York and innumerable others.
